• Armed Robbery on Del Monte Avenue in Monterey

    Robbery of victim in parked vehicle

    On Monday, December 7, 2015 at approximately 10:11 PM, Monterey Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot at 1042 Del Monte Avenue.

    One suspect approached a driver in a parked vehicle, presented a handgun and demanded money.  After obtaining some money, the suspect fled on foot onto Lake Street.

    The suspect was described as a light skinned black male, 20-30, stocky build, black jacket, blue jeans.  An associated vehicle is an older gray model sedan.
