• City Council Actions at 8/5/15 Meeting

    Major actions taken by the Council at its regular meeting on August 5, 2015 include:
     Honored Darlene Billstrom and Crystal Henden for their service to the City of Pacific Grove with Employee Service Awards.
     Received StormReady and TsunamiReady Program presentations from Jocelyn Francis and Larry Smith.
     Approved Resolution 15-045 extending the City’s work with York Risk Services Group Inc. for Workers’ Compensation Third Party Administration Services.
     Authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates (HdL Software, LLC) for business license administration, discovery, and audit services.
     Held the second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 15-015 to add Chapter 18.04.105 to the Pacific Grove Municipal Code for a Small Rooftop Solar System.
     Received the Treasurer’s Quarterly Report from Finance Director Patty Maitland.
     Appointed Amrish Patel as an Advisory to the Board of the Monterey Convention and Visitors Bureau.
     Approved Resolution 15-046 authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with PERC Water to design and construct the Pacific Grove Local Water Project, and authorizing the City Manager to make minor improvements to the agreement that may arise after Council action and before execution.
     As an emergency measure, adopted Ordinance 15-016 for a 45-day urgency moratorium on the issuance of new Transient Occupancy Licenses within the City of Pacific Grove.
    The agenda reports and supporting documents for all of these actions are on the City’s website, at http://www.cityofpacificgrove.org. Details of the actions taken will also be available, upon completion and adoption of the meeting minutes, which will also be posted on the website.
