• Cone Zone Report through Oct. 19

    Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, October 12, through Sunday, October 19, 2014. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

    Highway 1 – South Coast: October 13 – October 17 

    • Daytime work along Highway 1 between the San Luis Obispo County Line and Gorda from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

    Highway 1 – Big Sur: October 13 – October 17 

    • Daytime bridge work along Highway 1 at Malpaso Creek Bridge from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

    Highway 1 – Sand City: October 15 – October 16 

    • Daytime shoulder work along northbound Highway 1 between Tioga Avenue and Sand Dunes Drive from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

    Highway 68 – Corral De Tierra and Quail Ridge: October 11– October 12 

    • One night k-rail installation along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Quail Ridge Lane and Corral De Tierra Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

    Highway 68 – Toro Park and San Benancio: October 13– October 17 

    • Night time k-rail installation along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between San Benancio Road and Toro Park from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes
