    GUEST ARTIST PERFORMANCES WEEK TWO:
    Monday, July 8 (Stage Combat demonstration)
    Fight Choreography and Demonstration
    7:00pm/World Theatre (Sixth Avenue and A Street on the CSUMB Campus)
    Tickets–$8 regular/$5 students-seniors/ Parking $2
    Theatrical fight coordinator and actor Anthony Carreiro (Lethal Weapon II; Liar, Liar), demonstrates the choreography of creating a fight scene for theatrical and film production.

    Tuesday, July 9 (Theater Production)
    An Evening of Steinbeck
    7:00pm/World Theatre (Divarty St. off of General Jim Moore Blvd. on the CSUMB Campus)
    Tickets–$8 regular/$5 students-seniors/Parking $2
    An ensemble of actors from the CSU Summer Arts workshop Steppenwolf Class West will present a reading of excerpts from John Steinbeck’s dispatches from Vietnam. These writings from the war constitute the famous author’s last published works.

    Wednesday, July 10 (Observational Painting)
    Alyssa Monks, Guest Artist Lecturer

    Observational artist Alyssa Monk’s paintings explore the tension between abstraction and realism.

    Wednesday, July 10 (Guitar Concert)
    William Kanengiser and Scott Tennant, guitarists
    7:00pm/World Theatre (Sixth Avenue and A Street on the CSUMB Campus, Seaside, CA)
    Tickets–$15 regular/$10 students-seniors/ Parking $2
    Members of the famed Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Grammy Award winners William Kanengiser and Scott Tennant are two of the world’s premiere guitar virtuosos.

    Thursday, July 11 (Writing Lecture and Reading)
    Daniel Petrie, Jr.
    7:00pm/World Theatre (Sixth Avenue and A Street on the CSUMB Campus)
    Tickets–$8 regular/$5 students-seniors/ Parking $2
    Dan Petrie has been nominated for a screenwriting Oscar for Beverly Hills Cop, has produced and directed multiple films and T.V. series, has served as President of the Writers Guild of America West, and was a governor of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences.

    Friday, July 12 (Saxophone concert)
    Eric Marienthal, saxophonist
    7:00pm/World Theatre (Sixth Avenue and A Street on the CSUMB Campus)
    Tickets–$15 regular/$10 students-seniors/ Parking $2
    Grammy Award winning jazz saxophonist Eric Marienthal began his professional career with trumpeter Al Hurt, performed with Chick Corea’s Elektric Band, and currently is a member of The Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band which performed at the MJF/56 last September. As a high school student, Eric Marienthal also performed with the Monterey Jazz Festival California All-Star Band.

    Art exhibits, demonstrations, musical and theatrical performances presented as part of the CSU Summer Arts Events at CSUMB

    World Theatre (Sixth Avenue and A Street on the CSUMB Campus, Seaside, CA); Tanimura and Antle Library (Divarty St. off of General Jim Moore Blvd), and Visual and Public Arts Buildings (Inter-Garrison and Sixth Ave.)
