• Dead Poets are the topic for Poetry in the Grove

    Dead poets will be the topic of the next meeting of Poetry in the Grove on Saturday, October 4, 2014, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Jewell Park, 578 Central Ave. in PG. The poetry of Walt Whitman will be discussed along with other dead poets. Participants are encouraged to bring poems of their favorite dead poets to read at this informal gathering of poetry enthusiasts.
    The Pacific Grove Poetry Collective, in collaboration with the Pacific Grove Poet in Residence, presents different poets for discussion on the first Saturday of each month.  The life and poetry ofEdward Estlin Cummings, popularly known as ee cummings, will be the topic of the November 1st gathering of Poetry in the Grove.
