• MADD Recognizes Officers for Drunk Driving Arrests

    Avila65 Officers and Deputies from Monterey County, San Benito County and Santa Cruz County were awarded recognition by Mothers Against Drunk Driving on July 14, 2015. Leaders by county were Monterey CHP – Peter Avila 66, Hollister PD – Officer Johnny Garcia 75, Santa Cruz CHP – Officer Adam Rikalo 81 Arrest.  Attached is a picture of Santa Cruz CHP Captain Paul Vincent (left) and Officer Adam Rikalo (Right).  In 2014 the Monterey Area CHP Office arrested 1166 drivers for DUI.
