• Marina Coast Water District Names Interim General Manager

    Effective January 6, 2015, the Marina Coast Water District Board of Directors has named Bill Kocher to assume the position of Interim General Manager for the Marina Coast Water District, an agency that provides water and wastewater collection services to the City of Marina and the former Fort Ord.

    Mr. Kocher will serve the District as its Interim General Manager while a recruitment is underway for a permanent replacement.

    Prior to his acceptance of this position, Mr. Kocher was retired for a year from his position as the Water Department Director of the City of Santa Cruz for 28 years. Mr. Kocher has 35 years of water and wastewater experience including 7 years of wastewater collections experience in the suburbs of Chicago.
