• Monterey County Association of REALTORS® Hosting Peninsula Water Forum and Measure O Debate

    The Monterey County Association of REALTORS® (“MCAR”) will be hosting a Monterey Peninsula Water Forum, including a debate on Measure O, on Tuesday, April 22nd from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Seaside, CA. The event is open to the public and free to attend.

    Topics to be discussed include: What happens if we don’t make the Cease and Desist Order deadline? What does additional rationing look like? How will reductions in available water impact residents and businesses? The Forum will also include a moderated debate on Measure O.

    Panel participants include: Jason Burnett, (Mayor, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Vice-President of the Monterey Peninsula Regional Water Authority) Dave Stoldt, (General Manager of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District) Ron Cohen, (Measure O Supporter) and Scott Dick (Research Analyst). The event will be moderated by MCAR Government and Community Affairs Director, Kevin Stone.
