• Pacific Grove Beats Both Soledad and Gonzales in Double Dual Cross Country Meet

    Pacific Grove High School Cross Country Team attended a double dual meet with Gonzales and Soledad at the Gonzales High School Campus. Pacific Grove beat both Soledad and Gonzales in the boys and girls races.

    Individual winner and course record setter in the girls race was Yette Tavares of Soledad in a time of 17:00 for the 2.38 mile course. Pacific Grove’s top finisher was Anna Stefanous in second place with a time of 17:54.

    The boys race was won by Jesus Rodriguez of Soledad in a course record of 14:05.13 for the 2.38 mile course. Just behind him was Henry Loh of Pacific Grove in the time of 14:05.57.

    Next up for the Breakers will be the MTAL Championship Meet at Toro Park next Thursday afternoon.
