• Pacific Grove Police Warn of Auto Burglaries

    On June 20, Pacific Grove Police Department Officers took seven reports of auto burglaries and thefts from vehicles in and around the 300 block of Gibson Ave. The thefts occurred sometime during the night between midnight and 7:30 a.m. Most of the vehicles were reportedly unlocked and there were no signs of forced entry on the remaining vehicles that were reportedly locked.
    Only “spare” coinage left in the vehicles was taken.
    Pacific Grove Police Dept. reminds residents and visitors that many crimes of opportunity can be prevented by practicing “TLC” — Take your valuables, Lock your door, Close your windows.
