• STRONG-ARM ROBBER KNOCKS WOMAN DOWN

    Sept. 12 at 7:12 PM, Monterey Police Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Grace St. regarding a strong-armed robbery. The victim was struck in the back of the head and knocked to the ground. The suspect stole the victim’s purse and fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim sustained minor injuries to her face and head.

    The suspect was described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, thin build, and a white or gray goatee. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with gray markings on the sleeves, a red “ski mask” that covered his eyes and nose, light colored blue jeans, and black gloves.
