• Strong Start for the Breakers Girls’ Basketball Team

    The Pacific Grove girls’ basketball team started out the season with a bang on Tuesday night [12-2-14]. The Breakers defeated North Monterey County 58-42, to begin the season 1-0.

    Jessica Matthews led the way for the Breakers with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 steals.

    After jumping out to a 15-0 first quarter lead, the Breakers didn’t let up. They carried the momentum of their fast start to a 30-10 halftime lead over the Condors. The Condors had a good second half, but could not overcome the Breakers twenty point halftime lead.
