    Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, September 28, through Sunday, October 5, 2014Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

    Highway 1 – Carmel: September 29 – October 3

    • Daytime paving along southbound Highway 1 between Monastery Beach and Point Lobos from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • There will be one way reversing traffic control with flaggers.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes

    Highway 68 – Monterey: September 28 – October 3

    • Night time utility work along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 at Olmsted Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • Motorists can expect delays of approximately 5 minutes
