    (Upper Carr Lake, Salinas)

    Saturday, November 15, 2014 • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Return of the Natives invites volunteers to join in a day of service at Upper Carr Lake in Salinas!
Volunteers are invited to help clean up trash and debris to make the park a better place for both wildlife and people.

RON events are a great way to learn more about where you live, meet new people, get community service hours, and help protect our clean water supply and natural habitats.

This is a great family activity that is FREE. Tools, water and great snacks provided for this special event!

Directions: Upper Carr Lake is located on East Laurel Drive between Constitution and Sanborn Rd. in Salinas. Look for the RON community event signs! (Use 824 E. Laurel Dr.)

*For more information call/email Alyssa Schaan @ 582-3686 or aschaan@csumb.edu.

*Volunteer groups of 10 or more please RSVP.

*If under the age of 18 please have your parent or guardian sign an “all events” waiver prior to the event.

*Weather Policy: The event will be postponed only if it is raining hard on the day of the event. Event postponement will be posted on our website http://ron.csumb.edu/, our Facebook page, and a voicemail recording on the 582-3686 line by 8:30am on the day of the event.

This is the Heal the Bay Beach Report Card for Monterey Peninsula beaches, which reports water quality grades, or when relevant, weather advisories. An A to F grade is assigned based on the health risks of swimming or surfing at that location. Look at the "dry" grade for all days except those "wet" days during and within 3 days after a rainstorm. Click here for more information on the Beach Report Card. Click the name of the beach when it pops up for more details, or choose a beach below.
