    Brad Sendell had a game high 24 points, while Zack Miller grabbed 10 rebounds in leading the Breakers to victory.

    Three different players scored for the Breakers in their victory over Greenfield. Ashley Aguilera, Vanessa Barragan, and Hannah Renner-Bennet.

    Pacific Grove is now 4-0 in league play heading into their match with Carmel next Tuesday night.

    The Breakers have scored an incredible 29 goals in 7 games this season, while only giving up 5 goals total (4 of the goals that they gave up were in their lone loss on the season – to Pajaro Valley during the Watsonville Tournament).

    Girls Basketball

    Pacific Grove (1-8, 1-3), picked up their first win of the season with a 44-33 victory over Soledad (0-10, 0-5) on Friday night.

    The Breakers won their fifth straight game overall and stayed undefeated in Mission Trail Athletic League Play. Brad Sendell led the Breakers with 24 points and 11 rebounds, with Jake Merenda adding 14 points while making four 3-pointers.

    The Breakers had their five game winning snapped at Monterey on Saturday night. Brad Sendell had a season low 8 points for the Breakers. Zack Miller was the high scorer for Pacific Grove with 10 points, Miller also grabbed a game high 8 rebounds.

    A Look Ahead

    Girls Soccer – The Breakers (6-1, 4-0) will play two tough matches at home this week against Carmel (4-3-2, 2-2) and Soledad (8-1, 3-0).

    Boys Basketball – The Breakers (10-3, 4-0) will look to stay undefeated in league play with a home game against Stevenson (8-6, 3-1) on Wednesday night.
