• Write-In Candidate Nominations Open

    The nomination period to qualify as a write-in candidate for offices going to election in November runs Monday, September 7 through Tuesday, October 20 at 5:00 pm. To qualify, candidates must meet the requirements of office and file a declaration of write-in candidacy at the Elections Office, 1370 B South Main Street, Salinas, CA 93901. There are no filing fees or candidate statements, and the write-in candidate’s name will not appear on the ballot.
